The Shemiras Halashon Carpool Program at Yeshivas Kochav Yitzchok/ Torah Institute of Baltimore: The program was started seven years ago by a talmid of the cheder as a zechus l’refuah shleimah for his relative. Every day, the boys learn a small section of Sifrei Chofetz Chaim, both after Shacharis and in carpool. All participants are eligible for weekly and monthly prizes, as well as an end-of-the-year siyum. The program has spread to schools in other cities across the country.
